Does FrontPage's "INCLUDE" Effect Rankings?

or any form of Include, for that matter

After MANUALLY editing 700+ pages TWICE this week, I find that I am really warming-up to the notion of using:

<!--webbot bot="Include" U-Include="NAV.htm" TAG="BODY" -->

My question is, has anyone noticed any detrimental effects on rankings due to using Frontpage's INCLUDE webbot?

Hi jk3210,

Except for the comment tags for the include bot to work you should see no difference in the source code of the page.

The data from the included page is saved within the basic page whenever changes are made, that is, the page and all of its included components, including footers, etc., are saved and served as a whole.

If you're using the includes rather than Shared Borders I would expect a jump in rankings over a wide variety of pages. That's my experience anyway. Using the includes also helps in validating pages. Once that part's right, it's right on every page.
