Any time you change anything on a page in EW (doc type XHTML), if you have multiple forms, such as Buy Now type forms, where each contains identical form fields, i.e. price, partNo, qty, etc., EW likes to add numbers to the end of the name. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

Go to Tools > Page Editor Options... > General and disable Make ID Unique on Paste.
