Change the letter or the word?

What's your editing style?

Something I've noticed I do quite a bit during editing...

While typing at an estimated 110 WPM I may have a few typos here and there. Instead of highlighting and changing the letters transposed, etc., I'll highlight the entire word and just retype it. What about you?

Same here. I re-type entire word. Always seems the quickest option.

I usually just do the specific characters, although I do sometimes do the whole word.

I feel guilty about snuffing out the "lives" of those poor characters that could have ben recycled. :)

With my RSI I find it easier to highlight a whole word.
