Positioning Adsense in Dreamweaver

I'm having trouble positioning a skyscraper unit on my website, ive tried creating a new layer using 'draw AP div' then placing the code in that but no matter where I place that box the adsense unit still appears in the same lower, middle section of the page.

I want the ad unit to appear on the right hand side of the page

thanks in advance,

P.S. forgive me if ive put this thread in the wrong place as I wasn't sure where to put it :)

Hi szkoda and welcome to webmasterworld [webmasterworld.com]

Could you post the code - cleaned - here for us to better understand what you mean.

I'm very much a beginner at all this so excuse my ignorance but what code do you mean, the adsense code?

Hi szkoda,

No need to apologies, we are all equal when learning new things :)

We would need the html code that you see when you do a view source of the HTML page in your browser. If you can clean it up a bit - by removing unnecessary text and your adsense code (type 'adsense code' where it should be) this should allow us to help you.

what I really want is a sidebar on the right hand side on the page to put ads and other content although in dreamweaver the only way i can find to do this is the draw AP button, which as described earlier does not work

szkoda

You probably really should change this line from your above posting.

google_ad_client = "pub-000000000000000;

google_ad_client = "pub-REMOVE THESE NUMBERS;

Maybe Stickymail a moderator and ask them. It's always best not to post your real Google ID publicly.
