I have about 1,000 pages dong with FP and was recently editing the shared top border and I clicked save on the top border. Something (I REALLY wish I knew what) happened and every single line of HTML from all 1,000 pages has been erased. The ASP before the <head> is still there but EVERY PAGE HAS HAD ALL HTML other than the shared top and left borders erased.

Has anybody had experience with this?

You weren't editing the Web on the server, were you? Assuming that a functioning version of your Web is still on the server, publish it to your local PC, and you should be back in business.

Yup, I was editing on the server. I've fixed it now but have to redo a bunch of pages. It was really strange what happened. Everything below the <head> was erased on EVERY single page just after clicking save on the top border like I've done hundreds of times.

Next time, try saving a backup copy of your top border (or any other border) in the Web under a different name. That way, if you mess up the border, you can simply delete the top.htm file and rename your top_backup.htm file to "top.htm."

Or you can use include pages in your borders (via FrontPage Components) and keep backup versions of those in the Web. Make your changes to the include pages, not to the borders themselves.
