Frontpage adds constantly adds the <span lang="en-us">

How can I stop FrontPage from adding <span lang="en-us"> and </span> tags

How can I stop FrontPage from adding <span lang="en-us"> and </span> tags around any new text I enter?

I called MS support and they could not give me an answer. I did check the following in Frontpage Site Setting Option:
"Ignore the keyboard when deciding the encoding on new pages" but it still does it.

Please help!

If you are using FP 2002 there is an update that will fix that. It is a known problem. Try using Office Update and you should find it.

It all has to do with your keyboard language vs. page language. You've probably changed something from the default settings, yes?
