Dreamweaver JUMP MENU fix needed

There is no "New Window" feature.

Hello, I am using Dreamweaver MX. My problems:

1. When creating a Jump Menu, there is no choice in the INSERT JUMP MENU window under "open url's in" to open the links in anything other than Main Window. I searched the net for answers and it says there is supposed to be an option for "new window." But there isn't? Any suggestions? Is there HTML code i could use to get around it?

2. What's the point of the GO button feature if it won't work? It seems I can scroll through the links and the links will open without the Go button. In other peoples browsers the go has an error in the status bar.

Worth reading this post by Marcia Guide to Basics [webmasterworld.com]

Regarding your question about the jump menu, i am a little confused in regards of what you are trying to do. I personally use them to cross theme's to inter-related aspects of sites, but i can't tell what exactly you wish to do, from your desciption, can you elaborate please.

The basic options Dreamweaver shows are for Main Window (in the open url in) and for frames. If you're not using, you won't see.

See this note from macromedia about jump menus and blank windows as the target.

There are also links for go button options.
