Just wondering if anyone knew if DW MX could capture code from external sites and bring it in. I looked for this functionality within the program but could not find anything.
Thanks.

DW itself capturing code, for use on your creations - no, never been designed to do it. Can you do it by othermeans yes. But probably, certainly if a commercial site is not legal. Worth downloading a browser that can show code, so that you can see how its put together, but copying - i would advise against.

Well, I was looking to save time by importing the code (not copy for usage) rather than view source, copy, paste, etc. I remember FP having this type of functionality for individual pages (drag and drop the URL) and just wondered if DW could do it. It has been several years since I used FP though.

You may be thinking of the "Open with Front Page" option in IE. I've done this occasionally to see the structure of an interesting page. Clicking the Open in FP option would immediately display the table structure, etc.
There are certainly many ways to capture the code for a page, but I haven't noticed an option in DW to open a remote URL in edit mode. Doesn't mean there's not a way to do it, though.

You might try saving the page to your desktop from IE and then opening it with DW. But it realy is 6 of 1 half a dozen of another.

Actually, I just used Opera and "save with images as..." worked great.
