i guess, many of us is not a beginner of coding, but wish to change his/her editor to more powerful one, to reduce time costing.
I'm the one used to write with UltraEdit, and wish to change it to gvim, under Win32
so the questions is:
do you dblclick php file from explorer to start editor it?
how u guys edit multi files? in single gvim or multi gvims?
and copy/cut/switch/paste as fast as possible between them?
is there any tabbed style of gvim as ultraedit? (which can alt+1/2/3/4...)
i've started to use "fold"er function of vim, any quicks?
any other tips to reduct time costing, pls let me know, it would be a greate help to me, and other guys who is the same as me.
I hear Nick_W is a big fan of vim, maybe a few others too.....

just as an alternate, im using a free prog called phpedit.
If you type in "mysql_" for example, all mysql functions will pop up and you can choose one. Makes it a no-brainer for me anyways :) If no vim experts arrive I give my 2cents to suggest phpedit for php'ing in an editor
