I just recently changed Internet Service Providers from Bell South to Comcast. During the process, I purchased a second computer (and router) so I could surf the net on a computer other than the computer that I publish my Front Page from. I wanted to reduce the risk of viruses, even though I have the latest Norton Anti-Virus software. I also changed my email address to a permanent one that I could take with me no matter which Internet Service Provider that I changed to in the future. However, since I made the change, I have run into two major problems.
1) I publish to IX Hosting, using Front Page by highlighting the file or folder and right clicking and selecting Publish. It used to happen very quickly. However, now, sometimes it publishes very quickly and other times it seems to sit there in an endless loop, even though it may only be one file. I can later go back in and it will publish very quickly. What is happening and how can I correct it?
2) I hire someone to process and publish large volumes of pictures to my site. I create a Zip File on my hard drive and FTP it (using Cute) to the site. Since I changed my login to indicate my new email address in the User Name, to get into IX Hosting and manage my website, I have not been able to move items from my hard drive to the computer using Cute. What can I do to enable this action to take place?
