Need help with Dreamweaver Table

expanding and collapsing tables

Hi! I'm new to web development and I am just learning Dreamweaver MX 2004. What I want to create is a table with one column and several rows. But I want the rows to expand when you click on a link. And then collapse when you click on the link again. Or maybe have an arrows next to the link to click on that will expand and collapse the rows of text. Can Dreamweaver do this in the Design view? If so, how?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

You want a page that has been served into someone's browser, and is therefore being displayed on their machine, to change appearance when they click on a link?

If so, that's nothing to do with Dreamweaver, nor with HTML - you would need some Javascript running on their machine to alter the rendering of the page.

Or wasn't that the question you were trying to ask?

Once I sent the question, I realized the question probably wasn't very clear. And I really can't explain what I want to do, so let me give you an example of what I want to do. For example, let say, I have links that start off looking like this: (pretend these words are unlined or have an arrow before them)
Entree
Deserts
Drinks

I want them to look like this when I click on the link.

Entree
Chicken
Steak
Fish

Deserts
Pie
Ice cream
Cake

Drinks
Water
Soda
Wine

And when I click on the link or arrow again they collapse again.
Is that a little bit more clearer?
How can this be done in Dreamweaver? Appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks so much!
