I finally was approved for Google analytics now I am ready to start adding it to my sites. My site has grown relatively large and it would be very tedious for me to open each page and paste the code right before the closing body tag. Are there any secrets or shortcuts that may be of help to me?

I apologize if this has been asked before - my search turned up many hits on Google + Frontpage and several other terms - none seemed relevant.

Thanks

This is a good job for FrontPage Includes [webmasterworld.com] if you had them setup already. If not, then FP's Find & replace should do it for you.

Thanks Bill! I missed out on the Frontpage includes but you can rest assured I will incorporate them into my new site.
So - Should I find </body> and replace with <google code></body>?
Is it as simple as that?

Thanks again..

Pretty much. Just find a common code element in your pages that is close to where you want to put the tracking code and you're off...

Yeh, the only drawback is that you have to upload everypage the include update effects, you can just upload the include.
Just add :
<!--webbot bot="Include" U-Include="URLHere" TAG="BODY" startspan --> to your site where you want it. Good luck :)

Wouldn't that still involve changing every page where you wanted the include?
