How do I switch this off

I've recently started writing my web pages in XHTML 1.0 Transitional using the CSS technique <div id="blah">.

Whenever I open one of my new pages, DW runs a command that removes all the empty lines in my <body>. It may do other things too but this is the obvious one.

I do not want this to happen!

I know it's running a command because I have the option to "Edit, Undo Run Command". When I do this (undo), it simply runs it again. Grrrrrr!

I've looked through all the options I can think of and renamed the "Startup" directory to stop anything in there running all to no avail.

It only happens with my new xhtml files.

I really only use DW as a fancy editor (I like the site cache feature when I rename files, and global changes but that's about it). I'm too stingy and broke to upgrade just for these features.

I'm about to throw it out and use "Textpad" for everything (and pay the few dollars for it).

Before I do - anyone got any suggestions?

Try looking in Manage extensions for anything and also Edit Command list.

Thanks for the response...
Try looking in Manage extensions

I've looked at both these areas too before posting ... every time I looked at this it was greyed out (not available)

...and also Edit Command list.

... tried that too and it's always empty.
