Hey I'm a noob to this site obviously so go easy on me.

I want to use multiple templates for my webpages in Dreamweaver. I inserted a library item into my various templates as navigation items. When I do this, everything works; until I make a change to the library item. This change (after updating all pages that use the libary item) inserts the library item into the templates editable region. Why! I'm using Dreamweaver MX. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Looks like somethging has gotten a bit looped up in the updating process. There might be an unclosed div/table tag that could be causing the mix up. Although the template system is buggy in DW, Library items (or static includes) are a life saver and I have raraley had a problem, with them. I have found that when the templates get in a tizz updating the cache and/or redefining the site helps. There is also a tool that looks for orphaned tags. Not one I have used for a while but might help for this.
