Are there any decent open source or shareware graphical html editors available? I used dreamweaver mx until it was stolen, liked the interface and speed that I can put together my photo webpages. dont need anything fancier than good table support. anything similar without having to spend big $$$ again?

[nvu.com ] is a standalone version of Mozilla's old Composer (but heavily updated) and is generally reckoned to be one of the better free wysiwyg editors.

I have used NVU a few times in the past but have abandoned it as a couple times I edited a file while it was up on the server and after saving it my file size became 0 bytes and I lost all content in the file. I have no idea if anyone else has had this problem but just be aware in case this has happened to anyone else, the editing features in NVU are great though.

Another free editor I used at one point was 1st Page ist seemed to do the job but since I moved up to Dreamweaver I stopped looking at other editors.

If you are in a paying mood and am looking for something easy to use, I used to use NetObjects Fusion and it was great at the time....may be something to look at as I believe it is free if you host with 1 and 1 internet.
