Guys, I am having problems trying to find and replace a stack load of html on all my pages.
I can only seem to get a limited number of characters when I copy and paste it to the 'find'.
How many characters should I be able to use, or do I have to learn how to use another software?

FP 2003 will let me Find & Replace multiple lines of code. I'm sure there's a limit, but I haven't encountered it yet. Older versions of FP didn't have the multi line replace function if I recall correctly. What version of FP?

(Embarassingly) I don't know what version I have - yikes, how woudl I findout? I think it was installed with the Windows XP that I have.
I find that if I 'copy' say, 2 lines of html and try to 'paste' it into the box, it only lets me paste a few words.
I am guessing from your reply, that it must be pre 2003?

Thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately, I have checked and found I have FP2002 which explains why I have this problem with copying a limited number of characters.
Oh dear!

In that case I'd suggest using a separate find and replace utility. I'd been using one called Search & Replace 98 which was free...but there are many other utilities out there which could do the same.
