Ive done this some through the years the proble ive had is that the layers will change spots depending on what size monitor your on or size any one know how to fix this problem.

I think layers are DWs fast and easy way at sticking DIVs in your pages. I used layers before I discovered CSS and DIVs. I couldn't find a way around it, other than using tables and then putting my layers inside tables (which really defeated the purpose of using layers in the first place!).
Head over to the CSS board and try using CSS to position your elements instead.
