I have a user with DreamWeaver. He wants to do SSI's.
I specifically don't want him using .htaccess files as he's
nontechnical enough that he's guaranteed to hose them
(and me when I have to support him and forget to look
for a .htaccess file) one way or another. That leaves
XBitHack.

How do we set up Dreamweaver to upload all the HTML file
with SSI directives as if I done a "chmod w+x <filename>"
on them so he can do his Dreamweaver stuff and I can
sleep at night?

XBitHack's been around for about a decade I think ...
I'd have thought by now Dreamweaver could play with it..
