Dreamweaver MX Crashes

What makes some days have frequent crashes?

I can rock along for days without a Dreamweaver MX crash and then it will crash 10 times in a day. I have the feeling it is something in the program cache.

It all started when I tried to straighten out a file for a friend. He had a spread sheet that he tried to drop in a table cell via Front Page. Of course he would like the result turned into a nice clean table. DW hates this file which made it run very slow and now it's crash happy. I'm wondering if there is some backup cache in DW that I can delete for this file. I have had this problem before and it straightened itself out with time.

This happened to me with Version 4 so I upgraded to MX.

DW MX does seem to get a bit confused from time to time when using syntax not written insde the application. I find the best way to clear out bugs from imports/templates/library is to redefine the site. It's a bit of a head in the sand technique ..."turn it off wait and turn it on again"... but seems to stop most hiccups, bar a reinstall.
