Not all template derived pages update when the template is changed

I have a site within which 98 pages have been derived from one template.

In changeing the template (spelling mistake in Pop Up menu), only 51 of the pages update when the template is saved. It's as though 47 pages have become detached from the template. Checking these 47 pages - all seems correct, the template is correctly referenced i.e. <!-- BeginTemplate "/Templates/my_template.dwt" -->

At a loss. I'd be grateful for any guidance.

Kind regards.

I've had occasions when the Template complained that it could find certain files to update them. That's because I deleted them a week earlier.
For that, I recreated the Site Cache.

Try doing that, and then go to the menus and select Templates/Update pages - it'll reapply everything to all and sundry.

Just seems that occasionally, you have to pick Dreamweaver up by its throat and lecture it....

With thanks to the member who stickied me for a page code. However - and I don't know how this happened- but all pages are now fully updated. I'd played around around with altering the template (non editable areas), closing and saving the changed template and agreeing to update all the pages derived from the template. Only nowhere near all the 98 derived pages were listed.

Also Used Modify/templates/Update Pages - selecting the 'Files that use' and the template name and the template box ticked. Had put in a fullstop (period) into a non editable area - Dreamweaver changed just one out of 98 pages.

I have re-created the site cache a few times - no change.

Limbo - To redefine - do you suggest deleting the site from Dreamweaver and re-creating?

Many thanks.
