Does anyone know of a tool I can use for removing all dreamweaver tags from a site. Preferably automated - I know I can do each page at a time but the ability to do the whole lot at one go would be brilliant.

Okay how do you do it then, I can't find anything on the subject in the help files. All it gives is instructions on how to remove them from one page.

Ian - can be a bit more specific
ie which dreamweaver tags, just the template ones or more

well if you want to remove all templtes just open the template file and detach the regions that are non editable.
OR
just do a site wide find and replace for the source code

Thanks knighty that looks like a possible solution to me, will give it a try.

re: global search and replace
make sure you work with a copy of the site.... its a great tool but sometimes it can irreparably ruin a site
