Hi,

When I go to foodtv.com, I always get a syntax error box. And a box which tells me the following: "Problems with this Web Page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly...."
Line: 2
Char: 1
Error: Syntax Error
Code: 0
URL: http://www.foodnetwork.com

Please let me know what is going on here and what I can do to fix this.

Thanx,

Erich

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Wavrider.

It sounds like a warning from your browser that there's a scripting error on the page you're viewing.

If you don't want to see those warnings, you can turn off the option in IE 6 by going to:
Tools > Internet Options

Then click on the "Advanced" tab and you'll see a long list of options with checkboxes for each one.

Under the heading of Browsing there's an option that says: "Display a notification about every script error." Make sure that is not checked.

Only the site owner can debug the error - it will still be there, but you won't be bothered with the warning message.
