Hello, sorry I seem to be asking all the questions just lately...

I would greatly appreciate help on how to generate the page URLs for an XML sitemap. I think I'm happy with the procedure from reading:
[sitemaps.org...]
... and the file structure - i.e. header starts:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
...etc, etc

My difficulty is how to generate the page URLs. I have more than 150 pages in 10 folders and it would be extremely laborious to have to open each page and copy and paste each URL. I am using Dreamweaver 4 and the "Site Files" window seems to have all the content. However I can find no way to make it list all the page URLs in a way that can be copied and pasted into an XML file.

Any clues at all would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Philip

Do a web search for Site Map (or sitemap) Generators. There are several free ones out there.

Marshall, excellent - thank you. I quickly found <http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/> which does an excellent job. This is very easy once the approach is known. My approach was wrong - it seemed so natural and logical for this function to be part of Dreamweaver that I didn't even think of searching the Internet!

Many thanks
