According to statements at the trial, OpenAI has confirmed that it's interested in acquiring Google's Chrome browser if it's forced to sell it.

It's not the browser they want. It's the users.

The only way they'll have a chance to get the browser is if G is required to sell by the regulators. If they are required, yes, there are users, but it's a ready-made portal to OpenAI's search.
It makes me wonder if OpenAI acquires another browser, or rolls its own.
