OpenAI Tests SearchGPT Prototype

OpenAI is testing SearchGPT, which is says is a prototype. You'll need to get on the wait list if you want to test it. It says it'll respond to questions with information from the web, and will provide links to the relevant sources.

Getting answers on the web can take a lot of effort, often requiring multiple attempts to get relevant results. We believe that by enhancing the conversational capabilities of our models with real-time information from the web, finding what you’re looking for can be faster and easier.

I can see that crawling with the SearchBot has increased significantly at the moment.

The bot does not respect my robots.txt. It is therefore permanently blocked.
