OpenAI has an interesting development, Sora, which is an AI model capable of creating "realistic and imaginative scenes" from user text input.
Introducing Sora, our text-to-video model. Sora can generate videos up to a minute long while maintaining visual quality and adherence to the user’s prompt.
Interesting ... but how useful will this be beyond "eye candy"?

There will be a LOT of content creators eager to get access to this. I suspect YouTube will be a little nervous in anticipation of an influx of AI-generated video content on their platform. I really do hope AI video content is filtered out. There are some use cases, but also many situations where it can be abused.
Mack.

There may be something to this. A Hollywood mover and shaker just put the kibosh on a $800M studio expansion after viewing what Sora can produce.

I'm fascinated by this Sora AI tool, envisioning its convenience for video editors. With the world evolving rapidly, I'm curious about its potential release to the public. Hmm
