making sitemaps for sub domains

Has anyone tried using the Python G site map script for making a site map or sitemaps for subdomains on apache?

I have a few hundred sites on subdomains which i would like to make site maps for.

My goal is to get these sites indexed.

Has anyone tried this or have a suggestion?
