Any one has any ideas/speculations as to when google may do its backlink/pr update?

Google guy said there was going to be an update earlier, but he didn't say when, but he did make everyone think it would happen before the month was out.

There seems to be a rollback to PR of the previous period. Something definately is bound to happen.
