PR highest in Google Directory but not on the Toolbar

Hi my website is only a PR, has many great search restults, but there are other sites showing higher PR on the toolbar then mine, yet out of 1444 websites in the google directory for my category i jumped from 7 to #1 above all of the others showing higher pr then mine. Does anybody know why? At one point I was PR8, Is the Google Directory behind or current with the toolbar?

The toolbar shows the "individual" PR of a page.The result you have is referred to the page you see.
The PR in the directory is the PR of the whole site and it is updated separately.
