Google and page description

When is the next google dance? Google indexed a page that and pulled page text (pricing) as the description.

I have since changed the page and want the description changed.

I have resubmitted the page to Google and hope the next reindexing will take out the description.

Thoughts or suggestions are welcomed.

When Google Re-indexes the page, it does not guarantee that that text will change. We have a old phone number that was listed on our homepage, we have changed it 5 month ago, Google bot visits every day and re-caches the page, I know that 200%., but if I search for that number, 'exact number' it comes up as a part of home page in the snippet, and the snippet includes the date, cause we have it there. So there is no guarantee at this time as far as I know. They keep all the info, just in case.

If I add a "no cache" code will Google remove the description altogether?

I wasn't aware it was pulling pricing as a description and not only is the pricing not on the page, the pricing has changed.

It seems theres got to be a way to remove the description.

thanks,

Jackie
