In fact, in 2005, I would go so far as to say that for any writer using the web as a platform, links are in fact part of his or her writing. When Google changes the links on this web page, Google changes my writing, without any input from me, and for commercial gain that certainly doesn't benefit me...

Some very intelligent arguments against AutoLink. Granneman usually sticks strictly to security, so for him to speak out against AutoLink on a site dedicated to securtiy issues is significant.

Maybe the way G$ is going it will be featuring more in security bulletins as it is becoming about as popular as M$.
How long before G$ attracts the wrath of a talented hacker. I guess they've got it covered but what would a serious security breach do to their share prices.
