Today, Google announced the availability of the Google Deskbar API (application programming interface). This technology makes it possible for software developers to build their own features, or plug-ins, for the popular Google Deskbar.

I didnt see much usage for this APIs. Hey googleguy can you give us some some sample usage scenario?

Windows search is way too slow for good searching. I have tons of PHP files on my harddisk and would like to search those within a second :)
