Hello everyone!

I have a small problem and i was trying to figure out why google toolbar is giving me wrong pagerank?

I have a website with the index page being PR6 and all the top level pages being PR5. Also i have some dynamic page in the format [foo.com...]
[foo.com...] etc
All these dynamic pages are spidered by google and actually rank on first page of SERPS for some very competitive keywords.
Google toolbar is showing PR) for all these dynamic pages, but i was suspicious and i used 5-6 online pagerank checkers from various websites and ALL of them showed my dynamic pages to have PageRank 4.

Has anyone noticed that? Is something wrong with my toolbar? Can i sticky mail my URL to someone to check it out and let me know if they can see PR in the pages in question?

Thanks in advance.

The toolbar PR is a guestimate. Take it with a pinch of salt, it doesn't affect ranking that much these days anyways.

If you are targetting a large number of key phrases (wise move) looking at the toolbar PR is pretty pointless :)

The problem is caused by the '?' in the URL. In these cases there are problems with the PR value shown by the toolbar while the 'real PR' seems to be correct. It seems that the URL in truncated after the '?' for toolbar PR queries.

I wouldn't worry about it.
