PR is 2 and sites are nowhere to be found

I would like to call myself a webdesigner but SE placement is not my strong point.

I have just looked for 4 of the web sites i have recently finished(in the last 4 months). Now i made unique descriptions for each page, made sure the body text contained the metta-tags etc. even spent alot of time manually adding to search engines.

Within a few weeks i was in Google and in high positions, typed in the keywords in the tool bar and there was one of my sites - great.

Now 4 months later i type the name of the company into the tool bar and its not in the first 10 PAGES, in all cases when i search, the company appears under my own 'portfolio' for that company which is not so good.
HAS ANYONE ANY ideas as to why this is?
I am getting so annoyed with that i am getting fed up designing because I know no one can find my sites!

Also i have got a habit of on each page including major keywords within the 'noscript' tag giving various words various 'Header' tags and have found that these have come up in searches.
Would this be considered spamming?
Other than that i play fairly with unique content and changing keywords/metta tags on each individual page.

Hmmm... Watch your logs and see how often Google's bots are coming back. They may have decided that your site doesn't change much so they stop coming as often / indexing as deep.

Be sure to control the bots that come using a robots.txt. You can find info on using one here:

Dedicate some serious time to link building with reputable sources within your industry.

Lastly-
It has been mentioned here before that if you host at an IP that Google thinks is spammy, you will be panelized too, so if all else fails try to change hosts.
