I have found that within a website - the pages that begin 'https' have google page rank zero but the ones that are just "http" i.e not secure pages have a decent page rank. Does anyone know why https pages are suffering and can anything be done to improve their page rank?

Thanks

They may not be suffering - see these past threads mentioning high-placed sites w/no rank:

I suspect that Google likes https fine - it's just the toolbar that doesn't.
