Hi,

I know Google has been acting a bit strange lately but my site PR was perfectly fine even during its most volatile moments a while back. But now all of a sudden my PR has dropped from 5 to 0 and where my site ranked 4 for website designs ... it is now non existent for that term.

Any ideas on what could have caused this. Its like all of a sudden google doesn't like my site anymore. Even the adsense program is giving crappy results where it had related results before.

The website address has been removed. So it will be great if anyone has any what it is about my website that google doesn't like anymore.

Thanx!

#1. Your site is showing healthy PR so maybe you are jumping to conclusions too quickly

#2. Have you noticed a big drop in visitors to suggest that Google have stopped sending you traffic? Do your logs suggest that there is now zero traffic from Google? Do look at all the evidence that is available first :-)

#3. Do remove your URL. If you haven't read the TOS of this site please do so now.

Yes - I see healthy PR as well.

Thanx! It turned out that google shows a PR of 0 if I go to the site without using www. With www it shows a PR of 5.

As far as the drop in visitors - that is there because my ranking for a search term has gone from 4 to not being there at all.

How do I remove the URL? I don't see any option to edit the post.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Erum! :)

Look for the "owner edit" icon to the left of each post.

Erum, the difference in PR for the two domains could be significant. (Or, it could be meaningless. :)) Lately, Google seems to have been more confused than usual by the duality of domains. You should probably set up a 301 redirect on domain.com to www.domain.com (assuming most of your links point to www.domain.com). If you search WebmasterWorld for "domain redirect" or similar you should find some good discussion.
