Google becomes default for IE search?

Did the toolbar update itself?

New one on me. Looks like the toolbar updated itself, and now I get Google as the default search in the IE address bar. Just me, or are others seeing this too?

(Might not be new. I uploaded a new site this morning and was looking to see if it is showing up in the DNS's yet. Typed www.sitename.com in the address bar, hit enter and got a message from Google! with the http:// added I get the normal "site not found" message from IE.)

Can you check to see if this is selected in Google Toolbar? Go to Options > More tab > "use Google as my default search engine in Internet Explorer"

Yeah. Wonder if Google has a control to reset the homepage for all it's toolbar users and they all see Google instead of their whatever homepage. :-)
