When will google launch Google Toolbar for Mac OS X? Google should build that for mac user , I think google toolbar is better than googlebar in mozilla. Because Googlebar doesn't have PageRank bar for showing pagerank value on each website. If possible GoogleBar should have Pagerank bar to show pagerank value. What do you think about this. I hope so.

I used to think this was a good idea. I don't anymore. Too many people are messmerized by that PR indicator than is healthy. With a Mac I spend less time worrying about PR and more time worrying about making a better website.

Allthough i somehow agree to what Brad said, i'd appreciate having a tb on mac. Tthere are more features than just the PR scale included in the Google Bar and we Mac users wouldn't look like aliens, outsiders if we would have such a google toy on mac [webmasterworld.com] too.

After more than ... uhm, quite a while .. fighting for it, i doubt we'll ever get one.

But hey, what's web life without hope!? Nobody knows this better than Mac users. ;)

Ofcourse, they should and they will. Just that it is a low priority right now.

I got second computer to take advantage of other non-mac software. The PC also doubles as my expensive Toolbar LOL!

In retrospect to wanting GT for my Mac, I have since decided it nice none of those types of apps are available for Mac.

Another advantage to using a Mac is you don't get tempted to use the toolbar ;)

You know, how hard would it be for them to create a Mac, or Java, utility to display Page Rank? My guess, not hard at all. Or a Netscape sidebar for that matter on either platform? Or to make an API available? But what Google wants is your surfing patterns and my guess is that only IE has the hooks in place to allow them to capture that kind of data (which is probably what makes IE vulnerable to security hacks as well). So the way I see it, there's not much motivation to spend the time writing and maintaining a non-IE toolbar if they're not going to get the data in return.
