Google says it has improved security for accounts with a couple of additional enhancements.
From now on, users will have to have JavaScript is enabled on the Google sign-in page so it can run an assessment there's nothing suspicious about the user signing in.

Google also plans to extend the notifications when sharing data from a Google Account.

Additionally, if your account has been compromised, Google has added a step-by-step process in the account which will be triggered upon detection of suspicious activity.

This will help verify critical security settings, to secure your other accounts, to check financial activity, and review content and files to help find out if any Gmail or Drive data was accessed or mis-used.
