Just wondering if there is any spyware in the google toolbar? I know that the alexa toolbar has a bunch, it showed up whenever I did a spybot search or ad-aware search.

Anybody know?

Thanks,

Jason

Spybot doesn't kick it out. It lists the Alexa and the ebay tool bar.

In fact toolbar reports url you visit when shows pr and cat.
Doing this can be considered spyware, but you clearly agreed at installation time.

Correct - infact Google offers up the toolbar privacy statement when enabling advanced features that report back...

Ohps, to avoid potential misunderstandings: i meant the google toolbar with my previous post not the alexa toolbar. :D

Google's toolbar privacy statement is much more straight forward than Alexa's ...

clear is relative

#msg11 How to get a high Alexa traffic ranking [webmasterworld.com] - i second that!
