Hello
I would appreciate if someone could answer this for me. I had a pagerank of 5 and now my site has dropped to a page rank of 4 for no apparent reason. I have been following all the rules and made my website according to that. Could anyone please tell me what is going on.
thank you

Forget about the pagerank for now as the toolbar is playing up even google.co.uk is displaying a PR0.

I wouldn't worry about PR if the ranking didn't change.

However, to answer your question: a drop in ToolbarPR can be caused by several effects:
- a change of PR for pages linking to your page
- a change of transferred PR through a change of the number of links on those pages
- a change in the PR algorithm (e.g. the damping factor)
- a change of the links which are considered for PR calculation (e.g. guestbook links are removed)
- a change in the Toolbar scale (i.e. the relation between real PR and ToolbarPR)
- a change of the link structure of your site
