Country Search: Restrict your search to pages located in a specific country
I wonder how this feature works. I am presuming that it looks at the IP of the website and sees where it is hosted.
Will need to test this out - because if that were to catch on it could affect a lot of websites around the world with some people preferring perhaps to deal with sites in their own country rather than external sites. (last bit added in)

I installed the new version in Japanese, recieved version '1.1.62-deleon/ja' (doesn't loke like 2.0 to me!) and yes the pop-up blocker didn't work. So I just reinstalled the English version.

Hmmmmm ...
Your operating system does not appear to meet these requirements.
Your system information was reported as:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/85 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/85
Because your system does not appear to meet the system requirements for the Google Toolbar, installation has been cancelled.
Have to wait for version 3, then ... ;)
How can I learn when a new version is available?
The Google Toolbar automatically updates itself when a new version is available. This may not happen immediately, but it will eventually. If you learn that there's a new version out and you've just got to have it, you can reinstall the toolbar to make sure you're driving the latest model. (You may need to uninstall first, though this shouldn't normally be necessary.)
I have the beta version but I assume it updated itself to the new 2.0 version from what it says on its toolbar help page.
