Sorry if I have missed this somewhere but I have installed the Beta2 toolbar and when checking a site's backlinks there seems to be an awful lot of stuff written in ( I presume ) Arabic.

Any Ideas?

Are you saying this doesn't happen when you have the toolbar off?

You can always check [tools] [internet options] [languages], but if it doesn't happen on searches done without the toolbar - I don't know.

You can also do [help] [about] on the toolbar itself - mine says en which I assume is english...

Yes.
When I check backlinks for any site everything that is not related to the links themselves seems to be in Arabic.

The internet options are set to english (GB) but I cannot find a way to get help / about for the toolbar itself.

Were you playing with the "Search Using" country on the Options page? If you set it to an Arabic site [for example google.ae = Arab Emirates is the 2nd item] then results will be arabic.

You can tell by doing a backlinks search, and checking the URL. If it doesn't start with "www.google.com", then that's what happened.

Thanks for that Astinus. I hadn't been playing with it but that was the cause as I just discovered when I finally found the toolbar options.
Mind you, all those sqiggles made it quite interesting.
