Google Maps - TOS

Im looking into integrating google maps into my web site. Although Im a bit unsure about something. The following is part of their TOS:

The API may be used only for services that are generally accessible to consumers without charge. Accordingly, You may not use the API for any service that requires a subscription or other restricted access, or for which a fee is charged.

The web site in question sells advertising. So I get paid for someone to place an ad on my web site, but that ad is not restricted in anyway as far as viewing is concerned, the only fee involved is what the advertiser pays me. Is this breaking the TOS? Im not quite sure.

Your understanding sounds correct to me. You are not charging the visitor for access, so you are not violating the TOS.
