KML File

Set zoom level.

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, but here goes. I have created several KML files for Google Earth. If I open these files using Google maps the map is not displayed, instead it says cannot set zoom level for this region.

Is there a way of setting the zoom level in a KML file?

I had the same problem until I found the solution at Google kml references.
try adding this lines to your kml file

<LookAt>
<longitude>-0.183236</longitude>
<latitude>51.477318</latitude>
<altitude>0</altitude>
<range>4321</range>
<tilt>0</tilt>
</LookAt>
