Short answer: Just tried Opera 7.11. I can't get it to run.

Long answer: Unless Opera is reading a lot of IE's settings, it won't even know to try to use the Google Toolbar. And unless Opera duplicates a LOT of IE's interfaces, the Toolbar will not run correctly.

I'd be very interested if anyone can get the Google Toolbar to run properly on anything other than IE...

There's a version of the Google toolbar that runs on Mozilla.

It can be done, The Google toolbar can be done in Opera but it won't be the same sort of bar as IE. It will have different features......

The Mozilla version doesn't show pagerank which is the main reason I'd want to run the Google toolbar. I've not seen any way to run the bar with opera but I'd guess there may be the same problem. Google really need to liase with the Mozilla folk and Opera people to enable pagerank to be shown.
