I haven't had the toolbar installed on ANY machine for over a year and haven't missed it. And surprisingly, no withdrawal symptoms. Have only had inadvertent run-ins with any green pixel indicator since. Makes life much easier and more pleasant.
I find that basically ignoring PR helps me concentrate on all the other facets that are just as or more important. I think everybody should give your challenge a shot.
Not just for search but also accessing images & news, printing pages, spell check. etc. etc.
It is an invaluable tool.
I'm sure I could find alternatives for everything it does but it's neat having everything at hand in one tool.

This offer only applies to those who have the Google Toolbar currently installed, the longer the better! ;)

Hehehe, imagine that. I doubt that I could get one avid toolbar user to give it up for 30 days, not one. Plus, it would be too high maintenance to make sure the user didn't violate the rules of the bet. ;)
I use the Toolbar every hour that I am on the computer which can run up to 10 hours a day.
Disable the PR indicator for 30 days. ;)
