Incorrect cache information with toolbar

No cached page is displayed when using right-click to view it

Hi,

This is my first post here so I'm a little nervous! Well, let's get down to the business. I noticed that using right-click on a page to see its cached copy often leads nowhere. It doesn't show, even though it has the cached version in Google's databases.

I also noticed that this problem frequently occurs when I try to see the cache for a newly indexed page. So, I open Google and manually check the page.

Does anybody know if it is my local problem?

Hi Julia welcome and sorry that no one else has respond to you yet.

It depends on what datacentre www.google and the toolbar are getting thier data from sometimes they are different.

Thank you for your reply, DaveN!

I suppose it has to do with what you say. The only problem it happens all the time rather than time from time.

Another problem I've seen lately. A website ranked #6 on a competitve keyword while its PR was zero! Have you seen anything like that before?
