If you are using Google Toolbar version 3 and Internet Explorer 7, any link with target="anything" will be blocked by the toolbar.
By updating to Toolbar version 4, this no longer happens; links open in a new window, or a new tab, depending on preferences.
So, the question is by the time IE7 is pushed out (apparently later this month), how many people are going to have the version 3 toolbar installed? I know G claims the toolbar will update automatically, but the update didn't occur on the two computers I tested, probably because I mostly use FF on them.
