Google Toolbar Update Problems

Anybody else having problems with the latest Google Toolbar Update?

Ever since my Google Toolbar was automatically updated on Friday 1st September, IE6 has been locking up. The toolbar seemed to work in the first instance, and I have to say the new features looked quite interesting. However, ever since closing IE6 down after that first instance, IE6 has failed to work. It starts to load my home page then just locks up and stops responding.

I tried firing up a different bookmarks from Windows Favourites without IE6 running to bypass my home page, and the browser still locks up.

The only thing I imagined it could be was the Toolbar update that had occured on Friday, as to my knowledge I haven't done anything otherwise since Friday. I uninstalled the Toolbar from Add/Remove Programs (which also locked that up as well!), and tried IE6 again and hey presto, IE6 worked no problemo.

So, I decided to download and install the Toolbar again manually just in case something went wrong during the original update, and it continues to crash IE6.

So, is anybody else having any similar issues, or happen to know what the problem could be? I feel a little lost without Google Toolbar, and would love to have it back up and running, many thanks in advance for any advice / info.
